“I’m the landscape painter that dreams of being a commercial artist.”
These posters and postcards were created working together with my partner, Karen McKinnell. Inspired by the "golden age of advertising"
and using images from my painted canvases, we’ve had a lot of fun producing these works under the "Canadian Specific" label.
The Yoho National Park series was developed as a fundraiser for the Lake O'Hara Trails Club. Postcards are donated annually to sell at le Relais,
with funds raised used to support the annual maintenance of hiking trails in the area.
In 2017 we produced a series of postcards for Parks Canada in celebration of Canada 150! I am a huge fan of Canada’s National Parks,
and was thrilled to be asked to participate in the project.
New designs are added from time to time. I continue to paint both en plein air and in the studio - from this artwork, there is bound to be a zinger for the next poster!
